Candy at the grocer's, a coin in the parents' wallet, a trinket in a shop... Almost all, if not all, children and teenagers have already committed a little theft, because they fancied it or to show off to their friends. Whether we were caught or not, these petty thefts often remain etched in our memory. In September, a tobacconist in Uzès, in the Gard , received a letter of apology and 50 euros from a man who had stolen sweets from him as a child... Libération has collected stories of petty thefts.
